Peelable Coating | |
Peelable Coating is sprayable and brushable grade [SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE]. Do not add any diluents / Spray gun should not contain residues of Oil Lacquer and Grease. Clean thoroughly with thinner. Spray the material with a pressure of 70 - 120 psi on the surface in a uniform coating. It can be recoated 2 or 3 times in the wet conditions to obtain a thicker dry coating. Allow coating to dry in a stream of hot/cold air. Sunlight or hot air can be used in enhancing the drying process.
Drying Time: The approximate drying time is 45 to 60 minutes depending on thickness of coating and ambient temperature. Cured Film can be peeled off after 12 to 24 hrs depending on external ambient temp Repair: If the dry film is ripped then it can be lifted and resealed by application of a fresh wet coat to the patch. It will rejoin and bond into the original film by itself. Removal: Easily stripped away by hand when required. We do no recommend removing in freezing conditions as the coating will be brittle. Coverage: 1 kg of material will approx cover 100 - 250 sq ft of area at a dry film thickness of 50 to 100 microns. We recommend a minimum 120 microns DFT for easy film removal. Cleaning: All spray equipment brushes or rollers should be washed with thinner immediately after use Storage: Shelf life is 6 months from mfg date. Do not allow liquid to freeze. Store between 10 degC to 30 degC. It has to be stored in a cool and dry place away from sunlight. General Note: It is important that the product is thoroughly evaluated under production conditions before being commercially adopted (such an evaluation should incorporate a reference to ageing). The above recommendations are made in good faith for the Guidance of users and are without liability. Any queries should be referred to our technical department. |
